How it works

Three modes for businesses. One pipeline for creators.

Choose the level of involvement that fits your time and budget. Creators get a certified, recurring income channel — no cold pitching, no unpaid invoices.

For Businesses

Restaurants, gyms, barbershops, boutiques

  1. Self-serve — full control

Browse certified creators, build your own campaign brief, manage timelines and approvals. Complete control, zero agency fees.

  2. Assisted — 5-minute intake

Answer a few questions about your business and goal. Our AI generates the campaign brief and surfaces three pre-matched certified creators. You choose, we handle the rest.

  3. Managed — hands completely off

A dedicated Loqal Campaign Manager runs everything: creator sourcing, brief writing, scheduling, content approval, and reporting. $299–$599/month. Your marketing runs while you run your business.

  4. Campaign Impact Report after every run

Local benchmarks, reach, engagement, and attributed foot traffic — data no national platform has for your city. Your marketing memory lives here forever.

  5. Auto-renewal keeps the momentum

After a successful campaign, the platform proposes the next one automatically. The best local marketing compounds over time.

For Creators

Food, fitness, fashion, lifestyle, beauty + more

  1. Apply and get certified

Complete a short vetting process — platform onboarding, content review, and profile setup. Earn your tier: Neighborhood (under 2K), City (2K–15K), or Metro (15K+). Tiers are built on performance data, not follower counts.

  2. Browse campaigns or get matched

See campaigns from local businesses that actually fit your niche and local audience. Apply in one tap — or get AI-matched before a campaign even goes live.

  3. Contract signed, payment locked in escrow

All terms are clear and in writing. Your payment is held in escrow before you shoot a single frame — you will get paid.

  4. Submit content, get approved

Upload your Reel, Story, or post in-app. The business reviews it. No going live until both sides agree.

  5. Paid in 48h + your reputation score grows

Money hits your account within 48 hours of approval. Your Loqal score — built on rehire rate, completion rate, and quality — only grows on-platform. Every campaign makes you more valuable here.

Platform infrastructure

The operating layer for local growth

Contracts, payments, analytics, and automation — everything that makes switching away more expensive than staying.

Data Moat

Campaign Impact Reports

After every campaign, you get a detailed impact report benchmarked against local averages — data no national platform has for Tacoma. Which niches drive foot traffic. What local CPM looks like. Your full campaign history lives here. Leaving means losing your marketing memory.

Creator Certification Tiers

Creators are vetted and tiered before they appear on the platform — Neighborhood, City, and Metro — based on completion rate, rehire rate, and content quality. Not follower count. Every creator you see has been approved.

AI Matching + Brief Generation

5-minute intake → AI generates the campaign brief and surfaces three pre-matched creators scored on local audience %, niche alignment, and rehire rate. No guesswork, no scrolling through hundreds of profiles.

Escrow, Contracts & 1099s

Payment is locked in escrow before any content is created. Digital contracts are embedded in every campaign. At year-end, 1099 forms are auto-generated for all creator payouts. Financial infrastructure that's painful to replicate manually.

Reputation Lock-In

A creator's Loqal score — built from campaign history, ratings, and rehire rate — only accumulates on-platform. Off-platform deals stop building it. Creators who leave don't just lose campaigns; they lose their professional reputation.

Managed Mode + Auto-Renewal

A dedicated Campaign Manager runs everything for $299–$599/month. After every successful campaign, the platform auto-proposes the next one. The path of least resistance keeps local marketing compounding — without you lifting a finger.

Why we exist

Local marketing is broken — we're fixing it

Loqal becomes more valuable the longer you use it — every campaign adds to your marketing history, your reputation score, and your city's data layer. Infrastructure compounds. Introductions don't.

Businesses need infrastructure, not a directory

A restaurant owner doesn't need a database of creators — they need someone to run the campaign, measure what worked, and book the next one automatically. Loqal is that operating layer.

Creators need a recurring income channel

There are thousands of local creators in every city — food bloggers, fitness creators, fashion girls — with deeply engaged local followings and no reliable way to turn that into predictable income with the businesses they already love.

Every mid-size city is an untapped market

Tacoma, Olympia, Bellingham, Spokane, Portland, Boise — strong local culture, thousands of creators, zero infrastructure connecting them to local businesses. That's the market nobody else is building for. We are.

Secure payments

Built so nobody gets burned

Three financial checkpoints. One revision right. Zero surprises. Creator and business both protected — automatically.

  1. 0110% released

    Campaign Accepted

The moment the business funds escrow and the creator accepts the brief, 10% releases automatically. No approval needed. No content required. The creator knows the money is real before they invest any time.

    Auto-released · No action needed

  2. 0260% released

    Content Draft Approved

Creator submits the content inside Loqal before posting. Business gets 48 hours to approve or request one specific revision tied to the original brief. If they can't point to a brief violation, the platform sides with the creator.

    1 revision max · Auto-approved if overdue

  3. 0330% released

    Post Goes Live

Once the content is publicly posted with verified tags and timestamps, the final 30% releases automatically. No business approval needed. The creator already received 70% before publishing — fully incentivized to follow through.

    Auto-released on verified post

Dispute resolution

What if a business denies unfairly?

Most platforms take the buyer's side automatically. That destroys creator trust and kills supply. Loqal checks three things automatically before any human gets involved — so disputes resolve in seconds, not weeks.

Format check

Does the content match the format in the brief? Reel, Story, or Post?

Tags & mentions

Are all required tags and brand mentions present in the content?

On-time delivery

Was the content submitted within the agreed timeframe?

All 3 pass → Creator wins

60% releases automatically with a clear explanation sent to the business.

Something fails → Human review

Loqal reviews brief vs. content line by line. Creator gets one chance to fix real violations.

Business ghosting → Auto-released

No response in 48 hours triggers auto-approval. Silence is not a veto.

The rollout

Tacoma is the proof. Every city is the prize.

Tacoma isn't just our first city — it's the proof-of-concept that unlocks every city after it. We launch with 75+ certified creators, 20 anchor businesses, and real results before we ever open to the public. Then we do it again, 8–12 weeks per city.

Our story

Three founders from Tacoma who saw the gap

Loqal started when we — three entrepreneurs from Tacoma — kept asking the same question: how come the pizza shop on 6th Ave has no idea the food blogger with 15,000 local followers exists, and when they do find each other, there's no infrastructure to make it work more than once?

National platforms exist for enterprise brands. Nobody built the operating layer for local. We looked at every mid-size city across America and realized the opportunity wasn't just matching — it was becoming the full marketing infrastructure those businesses never had.

So we built it: certified creators, three operating modes, Campaign Impact Reports, escrow, 1099s, and a city-launch playbook ready to deploy anywhere. Tacoma proves the model. Every city after is the business.

“We believe every local business deserves the kind of marketing that actually works — and every local creator deserves to get paid for the community they've built. Loqal is where Tacoma's businesses and its most trusted voices find each other.”
